Oil Trans BV is a privately owned energy company headquartered in Maasbracht, the Netherlands. Established in 1991, the company trades, stores and distributes refined petroleum products and renewable fuels for fuel distributors, shipping companies, aviation fuel suppliers and industrial customers throughout North-West Europe.
The company's business model brings together three activities that are frequently handled by separate providers: physical trading and supply, storage at independent terminals, and inland and coastal logistics. Every customer relationship is managed by a dedicated commercial and operational team, providing a single point of accountability from contract through to delivery.
Private ownership enables Oil Trans to take a long-term view of its customer relationships, its partnerships and its investments, and to apply consistent standards of compliance, quality and safety across all of its activities.

Organisation
Four integrated functions under one management.
- Trading
- Responsible for procurement from refiners and producers, sales to customers and the management of price risk. Each customer is served by a dedicated trader who acts as the principal commercial contact.
- Operations
- Responsible for the execution of every contract, including vessel nominations, terminal scheduling, the appointment of independent inspectors and the completion of shipping documentation.
- Compliance & risk
- Responsible for counterparty due diligence, sanctions screening, credit risk and contract review. The function reports directly to the Management Board and operates independently of the commercial teams.
- Finance
- Responsible for trade finance, treasury, invoicing and settlement, working with the company's banking partners to support each transaction.
